  • Best Hospitals for Obstetrics — Moanalua Medical Center ranked in the top 10% of 4,728 U.S. hospitals for obstetric services. The facility has received this award for the 10th consecutive year. This award is determined by data compiled from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) surveys which focus on overall patient satisfaction and recommendation. The list awards additional points based on the following factors: presence of a Level III/IV neonatal intensive care unit; early elective delivery rates between 0 and 1%; and below-average infection and surgical complication scores.
  • Best Hospitals for Cancer Care — Moanalua Medical Center ranked in the top 10% of 4,728 U.S. hospitals for its cancer care services. It is the seventh consecutive year that the facility’s Comprehensive Community Cancer Program has received this award. The America’s Best Hospitals for Cancer Care award is based on criteria such as the comprehensiveness of diagnostic and treatment services offered, low rates of infection compared to the national average, national accreditations, and female patient satisfaction and preference ratings on the HCAHPS survey.
  • Best Hospitals for Stroke Care — Moanalua Medical Center ranked in the top 10% of 4,728 U.S. hospitals offering stroke care services.
