What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are xml-based content feeds from assorted Web sites. Each feed provides one or more stories (headline, summary, and link back to the original full-text article), delivered to your desktop reader or web page. This allows you to view updated headlines from multiple Web sites through a single page.

How do I use RSS?

You will need a news reader or aggregator that displays RSS content feeds you've selected from various Web sites. These readers can be desktop software (such as NewsGator) or web-based (such as My Yahoo or My MSN).

Where can I learn more?

The current protocol specifications are maintained by Harvard Law.
