Diversity and inclusion are a vital part of our history and a key to our organizational success today. Ronald Copeland, MD, FACS, senior vice president and chief Diversity and Inclusion officer since 2013, has championed Kaiser Permanente’s diversity and inclusion agenda as a critical element of the organization’s overall strategic goals. Becker’s Hospital Review has recognized Dr. Copeland as one of “15 hospital and health systems chief diversity officers to know.”
Dr. Copeland joins the impressive list of chief diversity officers who were selected from all across the country’s respected hospitals and health systems. They come from various backgrounds, but all share a dedication to advancing diversity and inclusion practices.
