Paul Minardi, MD, named EVP, Enterprise Clinical Integration and Growth

Dr. Minardi is current executive vice president and CEO of the KP Medical Foundation.

OAKLAND, Calif. — Kaiser Permanente has named Paul Minardi, MD, executive vice president of Enterprise Clinical Integration and Growth. In this new position, Dr. Minardi will work with leaders across Kaiser Permanente to promote clinical collaboration and education, foster the sharing of best practices, and engage with leaders, clinicians, and others to understand and identify enterprise opportunities for clinical innovation and alignment. He will report to Kaiser Permanente’s chair and chief executive officer, Greg A. Adams.

In this role, Dr. Minardi will also partner with Kaiser Permanente’s business development organization in support of enterprise growth and expansion involving the integrated care and coverage model, Risant Health, KP Medical Foundation, and Kaiser Permanente’s national health plan.

This new position builds on Dr. Minardi’s nearly four decades in medicine. Since 2022, he has served as executive vice president and CEO of the KP Medical Foundation, overseeing the delivery of health care services and capabilities to the Colorado Permanente Medical Group and the Washington Permanente Medical Group. Additionally, he brings many years of experience in executive leadership, having served in the roles of president and CEO of the Washington Permanente Medical Group, executive vice president of finance and strategy for The Permanente Federation, regional medical director of business management for the Southern California Permanente Medical Group, and as regional medical director of operations for the Southern California Permanente Medical Group.
