Representation is at the heart of healthy communities

In honor of National Voter Registration Day, we encourage everyone who is eligible to register to vote.

Kaiser Permanente supports National Voter Registration Day. This nonpartisan civic holiday helps eligible voters register or update their registration so they’re ready to participate in upcoming elections.

Since 2012, more than 6.5 million Americans have registered to vote through National Voter Registration Day efforts.

“Healthy communities are strongest when people have a voice in the decisions that affect them,” said Greg A. Adams, chair and chief executive officer of Kaiser Permanente. “Civic participation helps strengthen representation and encourages people to take an active role in their communities. On National Voter Registration Day, we encourage everyone who is eligible to check their registration, make a plan to vote, and take part in shaping their communities.”

Through KP Votes, Kaiser Permanente helps employees, physicians, members, and the communities we serve access nonpartisan information about voter registration, election deadlines, and how to prepare to vote.
