During Nurses Week, we celebrate our nurses’ teamwork, professionalism, integrity, and compassion — and the critically important roles nurses play in Kaiser Permanente’s integrated care.
We show the world the power of nursing excellence and shine a light on Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to delivering excellent nursing care.
We also celebrate the connection nurses build with their patients — one reason so many of us choose nursing as our life’s work. Placing patients at the center of every decision is the foundation of our nursing professional practice model.
Our nurses continually strive to deliver best-in-class care. This is reflected in our 14 hospitals that have achieved Magnet® designations. Magnet status recognizes high-quality patient care, nursing excellence, and innovations in professional nursing practices. Only about 10% of hospitals in the United States have earned this prestigious designation. We’re on our way to achieving Magnet status across all our hospitals.
I am so proud to honor our 78,630 nurses. Your skill, compassion, and dedication shape the care our patients receive every day.
