Building health connections in Colorado

Too many people face barriers trying to achieve good health. We partner with communities to address the biggest factors shaping people’s health.

As Colorado’s largest nonprofit health plan, Kaiser Permanente stands at the forefront of advancing health where it matters most — in our communities.

Working side-by-side with local leaders and organizations, we have connected people to critical services and created ways for Coloradans to attain optimal health. These partnerships have improved access to care, supported healthier lifestyles, and made our health care system work better for those we serve.

Our 2024 Community Health Snapshot showcases the collaborative initiatives that have helped to strengthen Colorado’s communities.

Connection is everything when it comes to health

In 2024, we invested nearly $110 million in community health programs, partnerships, and charitable care and coverage in Colorado. Recognizing that better health requires addressing unmet social needs, like a safe place to live and nutritious food to eat, we prioritized social health alongside mental and physical health, and dedicated more than $5 million to help connect Coloradans to the essentials of a healthy life.

Keeping our neighbors and communities healthy starts with the connections we build and the barriers we break down together.
