Kaiser Permanente and the National Union of Healthcare Workers met again on July 11 at NUHW’s headquarters in Emeryville, CA, to continue negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement for our Northern California market.
We want you to know that we remain deeply committed to reaching an agreement that benefits you as well as our members and patients.
During the session, both bargaining teams engaged in meaningful and thoughtful discussions, particularly around hiring. We also exchanged proposals on several important topics, including probation periods, bereavement leave, education leave, and tuition reimbursement. The dialogue continued to be productive during this second bargaining session.
