Celebrating the new Kaiser Permanente Parker Medical Offices

The new facility opened in July 2025 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community grand-opening celebration.

For the physicians and staff at the new Kaiser Permanente Parker Medical Offices in Colorado, July 14, 2025, was like the first day of school, the first day of work, and the first day in a new house all rolled into one.

In the morning, they were unpacking boxes. They were getting used to new computers. They were setting up big new exam rooms with fresh technology.

Then the first patients came to 12249 Pine Bluffs Way, including Kaiser Permanente member Brent Peddle. It was his first-ever visit as a Kaiser Permanente member.

“I was looking for an appointment anywhere,” he said.

But as he was looking for an appointment online, the new Parker facility popped up as an option. It was close to his house, so it felt convenient.

“I’m lucky I get to take in the whole new building and experience all the technology,” he said.

Peddle knew Kaiser Permanente has a reputation as a “one-stop shop,” where he could see doctors and nurses, fill prescriptions, and get labs and images, potentially all in a single visit.

Seeing and experiencing those services, he said, sparked a new feeling about his health.

“It makes me want to be involved in it,” he said. “It’s a nice, clean place. It makes you feel good to come in.”

Celebrations of something new

Parker community members picked up free produce July 20, 2025, as part of the grand opening of the new Kaiser Permanente Parker Medical Offices.

On the Tuesday before opening, Kaiser Permanente leaders, physicians, staff, local elected officials, and some Kaiser Permanente customers came together for a ribbon cutting with the Parker Chamber of Commerce.

“We’re really excited to be here to grow with the community in Parker,” said Jeff Krawcek, MD, president and executive medical director of Kaiser Permanente in Colorado.

The new Parker Medical Offices have replaced Kaiser Permanente’s first facility in Parker. Those were in a leased commercial space, retrofitted to meet members’ needs, and opened in 2009.

Because Kaiser Permanente owns the new space, the new offices have an improved layout and potential for new technology to care for future generations of members.

Available services include:

  • Primary care
  • Pharmacy
  • Imaging
  • Laboratory

And they are bigger. The new offices have 20 exam rooms, compared to 12 in the previous facility. The extra space is needed — Kaiser Permanente has added more than 3,000 new Parker-area members over the last decade and a half.

“The building may be different, but our mission is the same,” said Dr. Krawcek. “We are here for Parker.”

The Saturday after the building opened, the Parker community joined the celebration, too. At a grand opening and open house, more than 100 Parker community members toured the offices and enjoyed a free farmers market.

Several children got clean bills of health for their “stuffies” at a teddy bear checkup.

Investing in Colorado

The opening of the new Parker Medical Offices was also the kick-off of a new chapter for Kaiser Permanente in Colorado.

Kaiser Permanente plans to open replacement Pueblo North Medical Offices in August 2025 and newly rebuilt Lakewood Medical Offices in early 2026.

Kaiser Permanente leaders have announced early plans to rebuild our Westminster Medical Offices and add a small urgent care department to our Rock Creek Medical Offices in Lafayette.

Combined, the projects are Kaiser Permanente’s largest brick-and-mortar investment in Colorado in more than 15 years.
