Getting vaccinated against the flu is the easiest thing we can do right now to protect those we care about.
We’re all heartened by the news that a COVID-19 vaccine may soon be available.
While we wait, there’s something we can all do right now to help stay healthy: Get a flu shot.
“Getting one little flu shot is so much easier than anything we’ve had to sacrifice during this pandemic. It is literally the easiest thing we can do to protect those we care most about and those who can’t protect themselves,” Kaiser Permanente physician Sharon Okonkwo-Holmes, MD, explains in the video above, also available in Spanish.
To safely and conveniently deliver flu shots during the latest COVID-19 surge, Kaiser Permanente is offering its members several no-cost vaccination options. These include drive-thru, walk-up, and indoor clinics at many of our medical centers.
Through December 31, 2020, members also have the option of getting no-cost flu shots at many retail pharmacies across the United States, including Albertsons, Costco, CVS, Kroger, Rite Aid, Safeway, Sav-on, Walgreens, and Walmart.
Flu shot dates and hours vary by location, so visit kp.org/flu to find the option that’s best for you.
