Banana nut butter crunch

For those on the go, this easy, 3-ingredient recipe will supply you with the energy you need to start and get through the day. As a pre-workout snack, it will help fuel the body and speed up the post-workout recovery. Make them ahead of time and store in the freezer, so you can grab and go.

Ingredients

  • 1 small banana (You may opt to freeze the peeled banana first. This will make it easier and neater to spread the nut butter)
  • 2 tablespoons no-salt-added natural peanut butter, almond butter or other nut butter of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon organic hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal

Directions

  1. Peel banana.
  2. Spread peanut butter or almond butter on banana.
  3. Roll banana in seed combination.
  4. Enjoy for breakfast or as a tasty snack! Or, freeze for later.
