David Lipps, MD

David C. Lipps, MD, is a board-certified neurologist who has been in practice for over 30 years. He has worked with the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group since 1996 and served as chief of neurology in Northern Virginia from 2010 to 2018. Dr. Lipps became a certified culinary medicine specialist after completing training at the Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine at Tulane University, in 2018. He currently serves on the clinical faculty for neurology at Penn State University College of Medicine. Dr. Lipps is an active trombonist and director of the Cardinal Brass Quintet. He also enjoys sailing, kayaking, and cooking at home with his wife, Audrey, in Reston, Virginia.
