The new ‘born to thrive’ website is just one way Kaiser Permanente of Georgia is helping prepare parents-to-be.
Having your first baby can be exciting. It can also be overwhelming. To help, Kaiser Permanente of Georgia is providing a new online resource to expectant mothers called born to thrive. The born to thrive website features useful tips, advice, and “need to knows” for every step of pregnancy and beyond — from a positive pregnancy test to delivery day to life with your little one.
Born to thrive serves as a hub for information and resources to help guide expectant moms on their parenthood journey. Research showed that moms-to-be prefer to receive information through online tools such as apps and websites. So, Kaiser Permanente adapted its wealth of maternity information into a user-friendly, simplified, online resource.
During prenatal visits, Kaiser Permanente clinicians will encourage expectant parents to visit the new website. And mothers-to-be-will receive a born to thrive maternity kit, which includes a pregnancy journal/calendar with QR codes that link to relevant topics, a onesie, a blanket, and a greeting card.
Whether your epecting your first child or fifth, every experience is unique and special. Kaiser Permanente's team-centered, coordinated care is designed to help you and your baby thrive every step of the way.
