Judith A. Johansen, JD, has served on the boards of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals since April 2006. She serves as chair of the Finance Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee and the Audit and Compliance Committee. In addition, she serves on the board of Risant Health, Inc.
From 2008 to 2013, Johansen held the position of president of Marylhurst University in Marylhurst, Oregon. From 2001 to 2006, she was president and chief executive officer of PacifiCorp in Portland, Oregon; she joined the company in 2000 as executive vice president of regulation and external affairs. From 1998 to 2000, she served as chief executive officer and administrator of Bonneville Power Administration, and from 1996 to 1998 she was vice president of business development at Avista Energy (formerly Washington Water Power). She was also a partner in the Tacoma, Washington, law firm of Gordon Thomas Honeywell.
Johansen serves on the boards of Roseburg Forest Products and IDACORP, Inc.
Johansen received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colorado State University and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College.
