No-bake chocolate avocado pie

This creamy and decadent chocolate avocado pie is the perfect Pi Day indulgence. It’s packed with healthy fats, vitamins and minerals that will keep you energized all day long. Enjoy it for breakfast, lunch, snack or dessert! For best quality, refrigerate and eat within 3 days.

Servings: 10 (1 slice per serving)

Prep Time: 20 minutes


For the crust:

  • 3 cups raw walnuts
  • 4 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

For the filling:

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 4 dates, pitted
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup of raw cacao powder (or substitute unsweetened cocoa powder)
  • Kosher salt, to taste


For the crust:

  1. Blend dates, walnuts and salt in a food processor until they become a rough paste. 
  2. Form the crust by pressing the paste to cover the bottom and edges of the pie tray.

For the filling:

  1. Whip avocados, dates, maple syrup, salt and cacao in food processor until smooth.
  2. Spread filling over crust and garnish (with berries or coconut flakes).
