The beginning of summer marks the time of year when farmers markets are popping with juicy stone fruits and berries. When these fruits are in season, you usually get the best quality for the best prices. For my family, that means stocking up on fresh fruit, with a little extra to make into recipes that will last beyond the fresh fruit period.
This ice pop recipe is a hydrating and tasty summertime snack for both kids and adults. I chose to use cherries because we had an abundance of them, but any berry works well with this recipe.
