Enjoy this warm, comforting breakfast as the days become cooler. It can easily be made ahead and then heated up in the morning for a quick weekday breakfast. I often double the recipe and freeze half of it and then pull it out for a week when I need something quick. You can swap the apples for blueberries or pears for variety. My kids like to celebrate and think we are having cake for breakfast!
