Improving the health of our communities is core to Kaiser Permanente’s long-standing mission. We are proud to share the following reports, which detail our community investments and highlight stories of our impact in the communities we serve.
The 2021 Kaiser Permanente Northern California Community Health Snapshot highlights our innovative work to protect hard-hit communities, promote an equitable COVID-19 recovery, and support community mental health needs amid the second year of the global pandemic. The report provides an overview of Kaiser Permanente’s $1.05 billion investment in our Northern California communities and demonstrates our impact through engaging stories and videos.
Every 3 years, Kaiser Permanente conducts Community Health Needs Assessments to guide our investments and inform our business decisions. Our assessments help us better understand the health needs of the communities we serve and how best to respond to them. They also inform our Implementation Strategy Reports, which detail the concrete steps we are taking to respond to community health needs with a goal of making long-term, sustainable change.
The following annual state reports provide detailed information and financial data on the community benefit programs, services, and activities provided by all Kaiser Permanente medical centers in Northern California.
