Our equity principles

Equity is the ideal of fairness and justice. Our equity principles serve as guidelines for how we treat one another, reflecting our mission.

Inclusion

I foster inclusive environments where everyone feels safe sharing ideas, concerns, and aspects of their identity without fear.

Accountability

I am accountable for my individual action or inaction that leads to others being harmed.

Advocacy

I advocate for equity and inclusion for all people and amplify the voices of the most impacted and unheard.

Empowering our people to build inclusion

Belong@KP, our anti-bias and anti-racism program, gives employees tools to recognize bias in their actions, a broader understanding of systemic racism, and ways to think and act more inclusively.

Belong@KP also provides awareness and knowledge to achieve an unbiased and equitable approach to the recruitment, hiring, development, advancement, and retention of our people.

Our diversity

We are a multicultural, multiracial organization, reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve. In 2023, 69% of our employees were members of racial, ethnic, and cultural minorities and 74% were women.

Thousands of employees are members of our BRGs and this richly diverse and tight-knit community offers connection, mentoring, skill building, and career and social support. Our BRGs also deliver powerful programs that connect co-workers in meaningful ways and serve as cultural advisors to leadership and the organization.
