Contract talks continue

Kaiser Permanente is committed to bargaining in good faith until we reach a fair and equitable agreement.

Kaiser Permanente continued bargaining with the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions on Friday.

This message is being sent to employees represented by the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions.

Kaiser Permanente and the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions continued negotiations on Friday, September 29.

Management formally presented Kaiser Permanente’s economic package proposal to the Common Issues Committee (CIC) and answered clarifying questions from Coalition bargaining team members.

Our package proposal responds to many of the Coalition’s top priorities.

  • Establishes new minimum wages for Coalition-represented employees
  • Provides guaranteed across-the-board wage increases
  • Enhances the Performance Sharing Plan with a substantial maximum payout opportunity and minimum payout opportunities if quality and service goals are met.
  • Increases funding for the LMP trust fund to support our partnership activities
  • Increases funding for the SEIU UHW-West & Joint Employer Education Fund and Ben Hudnall Memorial Trust, to further invest in the development of our Coalition-represented employees
  • Increases Health Reimbursement Account amounts for eligible retirees
