Kaiser Permanente’s South Bay service area includes Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. These communities are served by our San Jose and Santa Clara medical centers, and our affiliate Watsonville Community Hospital.
In addition to providing affordable health care and coverage for our members and patients, Kaiser Permanente uses a full range of assets to improve the health of the communities we serve. We provide grants and donations to address identified health needs, sponsorships to support community events and activities, and in-kind donations, as well as employee and physician volunteers.
The Kaiser Permanente Community Health Needs Assessment reports for our San Jose and Santa Clara medical centers are informed by data and input from community partners to identify and address prioritized health needs in the community.
