Kaiser Permanente’s Fresno service area includes Fresno County, most of Madera County, northeast Kings County, and northwest Tulare County, and is served by the Fresno Medical Center.

In addition to providing affordable health care and coverage for its members and patients, Kaiser Permanente engages the communities it serves with a variety of resources, including grants to address identified health needs, donations, sponsorships to support community partner events and activities, in-kind donations, and volunteers.

Community Health Needs Assessment

The Kaiser Permanente 2020–2022 Community Health Needs Assessment report for the Fresno Medical Center reflects Kaiser Permanente’s long-standing commitment to addressing the most urgent social needs and community conditions to improve total health for all. Kaiser Permanente provides financial support to local nonprofit health and human service organizations with an emphasis on helping underserved communities. Grant requests must address at least one of the priority health needs identified in the medical center’s latest Community Health Needs Assessment.
