Kaiser Permanente’s Fresno service area includes Fresno County, most of Madera County, northeast Kings County, and northwest Tulare County. These communities are served by our Fresno Medical Center.
In addition to providing affordable health care and coverage for our members and patients, Kaiser Permanente uses a full range of assets to improve the health of the communities we serve. We provide grants and donations to address identified health needs, sponsorships to support community events and activities, and in-kind donations, as well as employee and physician volunteers.
The Kaiser Permanente Community Health Needs Assessment report for our Fresno Medical Center is informed by data and input from community partners to identify and address prioritized health needs in the community.
To view the Community Health Needs Assessments for each Kaiser Permanente medical center and submit comments, please visit the Kaiser Permanente Community Health Needs Assessments page.
Our Community Benefit Report for the Kaiser Permanente Fresno Medical Center highlights strategies and resources we deployed to respond to prioritized health needs and to improve health in the community. To view the reports, please visit our Reports page.
Kaiser Permanente provides charitable contributions to community-based organizations with an emphasis on addressing health and social inequities in the communities we serve
We partner with community-based organizations to support events and activities that address our identified community health needs and promote healthy lifestyles, education, workforce development, and environmental stewardship.
