KPImpact for Good brings together Kaiser Permanente Northern California’s employee volunteering program, KPCares, and its employee giving program, KPGives. Together, these programs give our employees and physicians the opportunity to positively impact the communities we serve by donating to eligible charities or volunteering their time at organizations of their choice.
Kaiser Permanente Northern California’s KPCares program organizes community service projects throughout the year for employees and physicians to volunteer. We work side by side with community organizations to provide technical assistance, expertise, and our volunteers. These efforts support Kaiser Permanente’s mission to improve the health of our communities by connecting our teams with available opportunities — including hands-on volunteering, skills-based opportunities, and board-of-directors services.
Kaiser Permanente Northern California offers a workplace matching donation program called KPGives. During our KPGives campaigns, we match employee and physician contributions to qualifying nonprofit organizations to maximize giving power and impact in the community. Over the past 5 years, Kaiser Permanente Northern California employees and physicians have contributed $11.7 million to nearly 6,000 nonprofit organizations.
