Lemon-lime vinaigrette

Lemon-lime vinaigrette

I recently added a new vinaigrette to my list after lunching at a Mexican restaurant in West Berkeley called Tacubaya. It's great to be able to search online for the recipe on the way home and then to modify it a bit to suit my taste.

It is so basic and can be used on all kinds of things, including salads, grains, and fish.

Servings: 10 (1 tablespoon)

Ingredients

  • Juice of one lemon
  • Juice of one lime
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 times as much extra virgin olive oil as juice (for starters)

Directions

  1. Whisk or shake everything together.
  2. Taste.
  3. Add more of whatever you happen to like.
