Baked apples

So easy and tasty. Pick up some apples at your local farmers market. Toss them with a little added sweetness, bake, and serve. I ate some with yogurt ---- delicious.

  • 4 big apples, cored and cut into 1/2″ slices
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon


Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Toss the apples with lemon juice then with the sugar and cinnamon. Spread them out mostly in a single layer in a large baking dish. Bake for about 25 minutes stirring a couple of times to avoid scorching. Serve over/with whatever you want.
