HONOLULU — Eric D. Hieger, PsyD, has joined Kaiser Permanente Hawaii as the regional director of organizational effectiveness, learning, and leadership development. In this role, Hieger is responsible for leading efforts to improve the performance and potential of KP Hawaii employees through individual, team, and organizational development, and for ensuring that leaders have the development opportunities they need to best serve members and patients.

Most recently, Hieger was the leader of ADP's global change leadership and change management center of excellence. He served as a transformational change expert resource to ADP executives, line leaders, and corporate function leaders. He led ADP’s change initiatives including changes to culture, business processes, systems and technology, people and job roles, and organization design. Prior to that, he was the head of global professional services for the American Management Association, one of the world’s leading providers of leadership and management development education. During his career, Hieger has specialized in the areas of peak performance, leadership, teamwork, executive development, change leadership, communications and strategic organizational development.
He received his doctoral degree in psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California.
