Breaking ground on New Murrieta Medical Offices

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — On April 28, Kaiser Permanente broke ground for a new medical office building at 28150 Keller Road in Murrieta.

“This new facility will provide greater access to outpatient services and convenience for our members living in the Southwest Riverside County area,” said Vita Willett, senior vice president, area manager, Kaiser Foundation Hospitals/Health Plan for the Riverside area.

Some of the services in the new facility will include: Primary Care, OB/Gyn, Ambulatory Surgery, Urgent Care, Telemedicine, Specialty Services, Laboratory and Pharmacy.

“The additional capacity and specialty services that this 80,000 sq. ft. medical office building will house greatly enhance our ability to serve the medical needs of the Southwest Riverside County area,” said Frank Flowers, Jr., MD, area medical director for Kaiser Permanente in Riverside County.

“We are very proud of this beautiful new building. It will boast the latest green technologies and will be a LEED Gold building,” said Bob Blair, chief administrative officer, Kaiser Permanente in Riverside County.

The new medical office building will also bring other assets to the community, such as a Thrive Path, a community garden that schools can use to plant vegetables and herbs, community meeting spaces, and room for a possible future farmers market.

“The City of Murrieta has been amazing throughout this process,” said Vita Willett, senior vice president, area manager, Kaiser Foundation Hospitals/Health Plan for the Riverside area. “They have been a great partner, and we look forward to our future relationship as a member of the community.”
