"Achieving the very best outcome for each member is in our pharmacy DNA,"
For the past 25 years, Kaiser Permanente has encouraged clinical pharmacy specialists who provide patient care to acquire board certification, a highly regarded industry benchmark recognizing pharmacists who deliver optimal care and achieve the very best outcome for each member. Many Kaiser Permanente pharmacists are also helping to improve care and shape industry standards across the United States by bringing knowledge and best practices to committees that develop the pharmacy board certification process.
“It’s unprecedented what Kaiser Permanente Pharmacy in Colorado has done for the entire health care industry — specifically for the industry of pharmacy,” said Samuel Johnson, associate executive director, Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
“Achieving the very best outcome for each member is in our pharmacy DNA,” said Amy Gutierrez, chief pharmacy officer and senior vice president, National Pharmacy, for Kaiser Permanente. “I am proud that our achievements have been recognized with this great honor.”
