As we celebrate Labor Day, we want to acknowledge and celebrate the crucial role that the people of Kaiser Permanente play in making us a better place to receive care, a great community partner, and a best place to work.
Today, we say thank you to our 220,000 employees and 23,000 physicians across the country, and the more than 60 labor unions that partner with us in health care.
We know it’s been a challenging time, and the pandemic has tested us all. Yet our people have stepped up to meet the challenge and confront the unimaginable with bravery and courage.
We celebrate our people and the tremendous work they do — on Labor Day and every day — to care for our members and patients and improve the quality of life for people in the communities we serve.
Because of them, we are continuing to achieve healthier outcomes for our 12.5 million members; providing high-quality, affordable health care for more Americans; and building a brighter future of health care for our people, members, and communities.
