Community events

As part of our commitment to improving the health of the communities we serve, we sponsor a wide variety of fun and health-oriented fitness events and classes throughout Washington. Activities include walking, running, and biking, plus youth- and family-oriented programs. These are great ways to connect with your community, and improve overall wellness.

Our event collaborations

In addition to sponsoring fitness events, we partner with organizations in the Puget Sound area including:

  • Cascade Bicycle Club's Major Taylor Project: Empowers youth through bicycling. In after-school bicycling clubs MTP students explore their communities, build confidence and leadership skills, and discover their power to effect change.
  • Special Olympics Washington: Changing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities through programming in sports, health, education, and community building. Special Olympics is able to remove barriers and stigmas that people with intellectual disabilities face, and to share with the community the gifts and talents they possess.
  • Team Thrive: Promotes women’s health, fitness, and competitive spirit through bicycle racing and is one of the largest women’s cycling teams in the Pacific Northwest. With approximately 50 members, the team is a veritable force whenever the rubber meets the road, the track, and the dirt.
