In addition to providing health care and coverage for low-income people, Kaiser Permanente's community investments include grants, sponsorships, and volunteerism. The Roseville area serves southern Placer County, western El Dorado County and the Folsom and Rancho Cordova areas in Sacramento County.
We are proud to share with you our 2013 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) report. The report reflects Kaiser Permanente’s long-standing commitment to working with other organizations to address the most urgent health needs in the communities we serve.
Conducting these assessments and making them available to the public is also important in meeting new federal requirements outlined in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. We invite you to view the Community Health Needs Assessments for each Kaiser Foundation Hospital and submit comments on our CHNA web page.
Through our in-depth CHNA, we identified health priorities, health disparities, and barriers to health care for vulnerable and underserved populations. The findings from this study guide our contributions to the community.

Kaiser Permanente is pleased to announce the 2015 Community Benefit Grants Program for the Greater Sacramento Area. Through this annual grants program, Kaiser Permanente supports local organizations that are working to improve the health of the communities we serve.
Applicants are asked to participate in a Letter of Intent (LOI) process. LOIs will be accepted until February 9, 2015.
